Three stage Universal Shell Molding Plant features

Stage 1 (shell molding)

  • Mold heating system for completely warming the mold impressions prior to shell deposit
  • Frame mounted shell depositor with pneumatic piston drive and manual adjustments for volume, speed, and suck back control. Servo options also available
  • Interchangeable piston block and deposit plate for maximum product flexibility
  • Stainless steel, water-jacketed hopper with water heating/circulating system, independent temperature control and variable speed agitator
  • Variable speed mold shaker station following shell deposit
  • Shell dumping section includes chocolate collection system with side discharge
  • Cabinet, scrapers and other areas are electrically heated to prevent product buildup
  • Multi-station inverted shaking with independent variable speed control for consistant shell formation
  • Dual variable speed mold wipers heated to prevent product buildup
  • High capacity shell cooling section with easy access for cleaning

Stage 2 (center filling)

  • Frame mounted one shot depositor with servo mold lift for center filling
  • Servo piston drives for precise control of volume, speed, and suck back provide accurate weight control
  • Interchangeable piston block and deposit plate for maximum product flexibility
  • Stainless steel, water-jacketed hoppers with water heating/circulating system, independent temperature control and variable speed agitator
  • Two vibration stations with independent control of speed, amplitude and direction of vibration. Includes insulated panels for noise reduction
  • Unique H-frame doors provide outstanding access in the main cooler. High capacity refrigeration module for maximum throughput

Stage 3 (bottom deposit and de-mold)

  • Infrared rim heater designed to protect product and mold while line is stopped.
  • Frame mounted bottom depositor with pneumatic piston drive and manual adjustments for volume, speed, and suck back control. Servo options also available
  • Interchangeable piston block and deposit plate for maximum product flexibility
  • Stainless steel, water-jacketed hopper with water heating/circulating system, independent temperature control and variable speed agitator
  • Variable speed mold shaker station following bottom deposit
  • Adjustable mold scraper and licking roll for bottom finishing and mold cleaning
  • De-mold station with twist and vibration. Includes insulated panels for noise reduction
  • Product take-away conveyor with automatic belt tracking
